Your Role
The Nurse Practitioner position requires collaboration with physicians and other members of our medical team to ensure high-quality healthcare for adults. This role includes providing preventative care, treating acute conditions, and supporting the unique needs of the community through occupational medicine and wellness services.
What You’ll Do
- Provide general and preventative care to help patients stay proactive about their health.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions with empathy and precision.
- Perform wellness exams, giving patients the guidance they need to live healthier lives.
- Order and interpret lab and imaging tests to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses.
- Prescribe medications and make sure patients have clear instructions for their treatment plans.
- Conduct sports physicals and occupational medicine testing, including DOT and non-DOT physicals.
- Care for workers' compensation patients, focusing on their recovery and wellness.
- Design personalized treatment plans based on thorough patient evaluations.
- Collaborate with your team to review clinical practices and explore ways to improve patient care.
- Provide education and resources to empower patients and their families to manage their health confidently.
- Support a team-first environment by helping wherever needed to enhance the clinic's operations.
Position Details & Work Environment
- Type of Role: Full-time, Non-Exempt
- Schedule: 3-2 Split Rotation requiring working every other weekend
- Work Environment: Warm, friendly, and patient-focused clinic setting.
- Frequently lift/move objects weighing 10-20 pounds.
- Requires active participation beyond desk work.

Qualifications to Shine
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure with a specialty in Family Medicine.
- Clinical and/or Emergency Room experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage complex medical situations.
- DOT certification (preferred) and required for full-time Nurse Practitioners.
- Current CPR certification for Healthcare Providers.
