**Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM Experience:• 24 months of Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit experience is required from any number of months.
• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.
Additional Details:
If declining flu vaccination- must complete on facility specific form.
36 Guaranteed Hours
Post-op fresh heart experience - must be able to take the patient from the OR, CRRT, Impella, and IAPB.
FRESH HEART EXP IS REQUIRED
Up to date resume that includes 2 years of experience in ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU and documents travel experience.

Beds: CTICU: 6
Common patient diagnosis: CV surg, Cardiogenic Shock, AAA
Floating required if needed: To all units except Behavioral and ER (unless holding)
Drips and medications: Pressors- Levophed, Neo, Epi, Vasopressin,Dobutamine & Dopamine, Vasodilators- Cleviprex, Cardene, NTG ,Anti-arrhythmics- Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lido Sedation- Precedex, Propofol, Fentanyl,TPN and Insulin
Specialty equipment used on unit: IABP, CRRT (PRISMA or NxStage) Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, TTM (Artic Sun)
2 references from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
Driver's license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
