What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packer (1st or 2nd shift) position at TS Food Packaging?
Packers needed for first and second shift (6:55 am - 3:05 pm or 2:55 pm - 11:05 pm) Monday - Friday. Ability to work in a fast paced environment to meet production goals. Monthly attendance bonus eligibility and full benefits package. Added Second Shift differential of $2.00 per hour.
Duties:
- Work on production line to pull products, verify packaging, and prepare product for shipment. Work with team to complete end of day cleaning and sanitation of line.
- Ensure accuracy and quality control by inspecting items for any defects or damages
- Maintain a clean and organized work area maintaining all safety guidelines.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment helpful
- Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 30 lbs. on a regular basis, standing extended periods up to 8- 10 hours
- Familiarity with Food Safety a plus.
Will need to provide valid documentation to work in U.S.
