Summary
Second Shift QA Technician needed to work 2:55 pm - 11:05 pm Monday-Friday. This position works independently supporting the quality team to ensure food safety practices and maintaining compliance with customer specs. Shift differential of $2.00 in addition to base pay.
Responsibilities
· Works independently to inspect finished product, raw materials, supplies, equipment for adherence to food quality specifications.
· Conduct line checks and perform testing as needed, performs weight and label verification. Work with quality team to monitor corrective action activities.
· Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and adherence to all food safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in quality environment required
- Knowledge of food safety in manufacturing facility a plus
- Must have good communication skills, basic math and computer skills required.
- Must have valid driver's license
- Proven record of good attendance is required
