Maintenance Technician
Butler Ridge Apartments – Reisterstown, MD & Westview Commons Apartments – Woodlawn, MD
WPM Real Estate Management is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our service team supporting both Butler Ridge and Westview Commons communities. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the quality and safety of our properties and delivering excellent service to residents.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Participation in a rotating on-call schedule for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.
Compensation:
Hourly rate starting at $22/hour, based on experience
Bonus and allowance opportunities available
Position Overview:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will:
Respond promptly to maintenance repair requests
Perform preventative maintenance tasks as directed
Prepare apartments for new residents
Support the overall upkeep and curb appeal of the property
Key Responsibilities:
HVAC troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance (HVAC certification required)
Electrical repairs and troubleshooting within fixtures and equipment
Plumbing repairs and maintenance
Hanging, prepping, and sanding drywall
Appliance maintenance and repair
Painting apartments and common areas
Maintaining cleanliness, safety, and order throughout the property grounds
Assisting with snow removal as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in site maintenance
High school diploma or equivalent required
Demonstrated skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance
HVAC certification required
Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel between sites
Ability to work on ladders and lift materials up to 85 lbs
Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be available for on-call emergency coverage, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
