Position Description
The Corporate Recruiter is responsible for full life cycle recruiting: sourcing, reviewing, screening, referring applicants to hiring managers to interview, and assisting with onboarding for corporate roles. This role is also responsible for sourcing candidates for key vacancies, clinical, and non-clinical positions on the community level. The Corporate Recruiter also acts as a sprint recruiter for our long-term care and senior living communities across the nation. This role is dynamic and versatile with a wide range of responsibilities and duties relating to the recruitment function.
Responsibilities
- Source and recruit for a wide variety of candidates - professional, clinical, non-clinical, skilled trades, and operations
- Use a variety of search methods to source candidates and build robust candidate pipeline
- Engage and maintain candidates in current pipelines
- Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and applications, and performing phone screening
- Stay knowledgeable of recruitment trends and best practices
- Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with hiring managers to understand and deliver on hiring needs
- Conduct employment reference checks when required
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on recruiting activities
- Analyze recruitment reporting to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement
- Proactively submit innovative ideas to update and keep job postings current with competitive ads
- Communicate company-related information to current and prospective employees
- Promote the company’s vision, mission, values, and culture
- Manage the full cycle recruitment process - applicant to onboarding as a new hir
- Complete appropriate sourcing strategies including posting jobs, database searches, networking, promoting job/profile pages, etc.
- Maintain accurate, timely, up-to-date candidate and applicant information in recruitment systems – ATS, HRIS, etc.
- Complete recruitment audits on site at communities across the nation
- Attend job fairs, college career events, school/college classes, online job fairs, community networking events, etc. to identify and attract quality candidates
- Build and maintain relationships with schools and colleges to source candidates and promote brand/company visibility
- Verify candidate’s licensure, certifications and/or registration through primary sources
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and department materials using a variety of office equipment and software programs
- Send application documents to candidates for completions
- Participate in the completion of New Hire Feedback Logs and Exit Surveys
- Assist with onboarding and first day welcome for corporate roles
- Assist with training and development of community and corporate employees in relation to recruitment systems, processes, best practices, etc.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Two or more years of prior corporate, full cycle, recruiting experience required; must possess experience recruiting for a variety of corporate roles including Payroll, Accounting, IT, Recruitment, HR, Director, and Executive roles
- Two or more years of prior experience full cycle recruiting in a long-term care and senior living environment required; must possess experience recruiting for a variety of community level roles including Nurses, Nurse Aides, Medication Aides/Techs, Administrators/Executive Directors, Directors and Assistant Directors of Nursing, Specialty Nurses (Wound Nurse, Infection Prevention Nurse, MDS, etc.), and Support Staff (Housekeeping, Laundry, Maintenance, Activities, etc.)
- Prior experience recruiting for Regional Operations and Nursing roles required, including Regional Director of Operations, Regional Vice President of Operations, Regional MDS, Regional Nurse, Regional DON, etc.
- Must have excellent computer skills, proficient typing skills, and the ability to navigate web-based programs with ease; proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google suites required
- Demonstrated ability to train, develop, and coach others
- Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must have strong analytical skills and excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
- Must have the ability to work well in a team environment with a demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships
- Strong sense of urgency, initiative, and self-motivation
- Must have strong critical thinking skills and the ability to make decisions independently
- Working knowledge of ATS and HRIS systems required; prior experience with iCIMS and PayCom highly preferred
- Knowledge of CareerBuilder, Zip Recruiter, Indeed, and LinkedIn platforms highly preferred
- Working knowledge of applicant screening techniques
- Familiarity with a wide variety of sourcing avenues required
- Must be highly flexible and able to operate in an environment of constant change
- Must be able and willing to travel up to 50% of the time; ability to travel overnight required
