MACHINE OPERATOR & SET UP - COILING DEPARTMENT
Job Responsibilities:
Participate in production work in our spring coiling department. On the job training with oportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Operate Spring and Wireform Machinery and Equipment.
- Perform set up, operation, change over, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance for machinery
- Use a variety of hand tools such as ratchets, wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, hammers, etc.
- Conduct safety audit of equipment at the beginning of each shift, records results of audit and submit results to Supervisor
Requirements:
- Ensure workspace is clean and tidy throughout the department
- Mechanically inclined individual is preferred
- Ability to read, write, and solve basic math is required
- Industrial Manufacturing experience considered a plus
Skills:
- Calipers
- Micrometers
- Precision Measurement devices
- Mechanical background is a plus
- Math skills, reading, writing required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
