The O'Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center is one of 51 NCI-designated comprehensive cancer centers in the United States and is the only one in Alabama and in the Deep South region. A comprehensive designation also means UAB Medicine patients have access to leading-edge treatments or clinical trials that they may not otherwise have at local community hospitals or smaller cancer centers. Duties Responsibilities:
- To manage intake, triage, assessment and distribution of study materials.
- To collects and processes information related to studies.
- To maintains records and documentation.
- To maintain study's compliance with institutional requirements.
- To run reports as needed in OnCore.
- To recognize when to escalate issues, as appropriate.
- To work with sponsors/study team to arrange required trainings and meetings.
- To maintain familiarity with appropriate Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and regulations.
- To perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
- Data collection and data entry skills.
- Knowledge of protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for data quality assurance.
Hourly Pay Range: $18.85 - $30.65
High School diploma or GED required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree preferred Knowledge of clinical trial processes.
