Position Overview:
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is seeking a Human Resources Associate to provide specialized clerical and technical services in support of our HR division's operations. This position is instrumental in ensuring the efficient administration of HR processes, supporting areas such as compensation, benefits, and employment, and maintaining a high standard of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Provides a variety of specialized and responsible clerical and technical services in support of division operations .
responsibility for administratively supporting in the areas of benefits and confidential information .
May compile statistics for management's use.
May generate reports from databases
May handle paper flow for periodic reviews
Maintains and supports departmental goal of providing excellent customer service to all.
Salary:
The hourly rate for this position is $17.00 and is non-negotiable.
Qualifications:
Education: Associate's degree in a related field.
Experience: Two (2) years of related experience required .
Equivalent: A combination of relevant education and/or experience may be considered.
