Job Description
At UCHealth, we value our nursing team and are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team at Pueblo West Hospital. As an RN on our Acute Care unit, you will have the opportunity to provide top-notch patient care and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional outcomes.
- Provides direct patient care utilizing the nursing process, prioritizing wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence-based practice.
- Values a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes.
- Models proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth.
Responsibilities:
- Direct care includes specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) Units of moderate to high patient acuity.
- American Association of Critical Care Nurses' (AACN) core curriculum and various specialty certification standards are included in evidence-based care models for each unit.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- ACLS, PALS & NIHSS within 6 months.
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
Salary : $32,650 - $49,625
