Pediatric Staff Nurse

Pediatric Staff Nurse, UHS Wilson Medical Center United Health Services is seeking a Pediatric Staff Nurse to join our department at UHS Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City, NY. This position is benefits eligible. Shift Day Hours per week: 40 Salary range: $37.45 - $59.38 per hour, depending on experience. The Pediatric team is a cohesive, team oriented group. Each nurse cares for up to 6 patients at a time. The team is passionate about making the stay as comfortable as possible for the patient and the family! Qualifications Schedule: 12 hour shifts; every 3rd weekend Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Assessing and admitting patients Keeping a close eye on vital signs and responding when needed Collaborating with our healthcare crew to provide exceptional patient care Administering medications as provided by Physician and providing patient and family education Qualifications: A valid RN license Pediatric experience Med Surg experience preferred Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team Education/Experience Minimum Required: A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing Preferred: Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting License/Certification Minimum Required: Current NYS RN License Preferred: Professional certification in a related nursing specialty Relevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by home unit assigned.
