Position Summary
Registers and processes imaging orders utilizing EPIC.
Greets inpatients/visitors and ascertains their needs regarding Imaging Services.
Retrieves and process requests.
Schedules patients for imaging examinations via phone and in person utilizing specific imaging protocols and instructions. Coordinates appointments with clinics.
Ascertains that patients receive appropriate instructions either verbal or written for the specific examination.
Confers with other sections and/or departments to attain quality and timely service for patients and physicians.
Utilize phone etiquette when answering all incoming/out-going calls regarding patient service.
Responds to routine inquiries from clients in order to provide or clarify information on departmental services, policies and procedures.
Resolves customer complaints and refers unresolved customer grievances to designated personnel for further investigation
Performs other related duties as assigned Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Serve as customer service assistant for the Department of Diagnostic Services. The overall function is to provide, monitor and assure high quality service to our patients.
