Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures.
- Monitor and record hemodynamics and assist the physician by scrubbing procedures.
- Assure proper functioning and troubleshooting of equipment to provide quality diagnostic and therapeutic exams.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cardiovascular and peripheral technology to assist the physicians.
- Participate in professional development for the advancement of Cardiology Services.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Current Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiologic Technologist regsitered by the ARRT.
- Licensed by the Kansas Board of Healing Arts as a Radiologic Technologist.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- One year of experience as a Radiology Technologist.
