Responsibilities
- The Circulating Nurse is responsible for coordinating and managing the multidisciplinary activities required to provide a safe environment for patients undergoing surgical intervention.
- Assess patient's physical and psychological needs.
- Evaluate and implement appropriate measures to assure a safe recovery from anesthesia.
- The OR nurse serves as a patient advocate in the provision of care and is responsible for ensuring patient safety during intra-operative period and with recovery from anesthesia during immediate post op period and with transport to PACU.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing;
- Current Nursing License in the State of Kansas;
- Current BLS certification;
- Current ACLS certifications;
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Two years of experience prefer
