What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mix Utility position at Umpqua Dairy?
Assist Mix Room Pasteurizer in daily production of mixes and housekeeping responsibilities maintain an efficient work environment, promote teamwork and ensure we produce the highest quality dairy products available in the market place.
Stage Pallets of powder with pallet jack.
Ability to work at a brisk pace and prioritize responsibilities
Able to work flexible hours, including holidays and occasional weekends
Good written and oral communication skills
Ability to work well with other employees
Must be able to quickly adjust schedule based on current conditions.
Load rack with appropriate amount of bags (Critical).
Cut and melt butter as needed for each mix and continue to fulfill other duties.
Use knife safely to cut bags open and tear off loose pieces of paper from bags to keep out of finished product
Fill out dry slips with the appropriate lot numbers, which change frequently (keeping on top of these is essential, so you don’t lose track of what’s next).
