POSITION SUMMARY:
Assist the Engineering department in the development and implementation of clear, complete, and accurate working plans and detail drawings for manufacturing purposes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Utilizes engineering models & drawings to create sketches to be used for departmental operations.
- Produce step-by-step detail showing procedure & specifications to follow, includes list of all materials and tools to be used.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, and quality to develop part specific characteristics to input into plan.
- Revise and update plans as required by production needs and audit requirements.
- Make corrections to Bill of Materials and routers as needed.
- Execute change requests.
- Maintain and verify revisions of specifications needed for all products.
- Verify engineering revisions.
- Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
- Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned by the Director of Engineering.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrated success in all functional areas within a fast-paced, technically focused manufacturing environment is essential; must be hands-on capable of effective project management and implementing tactics to drive Company initiatives in a time sensitive manner.
- Demonstrated success working in a highly collaborative multi-function environment, with a track record of accomplishment with measurable business impact and managing within a matrix environment.
- Must be very detail oriented.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- Education: Attending or a degree from a two or four-year college in Engineering required.
- Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, Catia.
