About the Position...
The Loan Service Specialist II is an onsite position and does not have remote opportunities.
The Loan Service Specialist II is responsible for providing efficient and professional services to internal and external clients consistent with regulatory compliance and policies and procedures. Summary of responsibilities includes processing loan payments (advances & pay downs), follow up on loan documentation, assist with loan boarding, assist with loan maintenance, processing letter of credit transactions, monitoring interest reserves, monitoring ticklers system, monitoring loan participations, loan billing, and interest rate changes. The Loan Service Specialist II is also responsible for answering client calls and requests promptly and courteously. Responsibilities include aiding the Loan Service Supervisor and Loan Service Manager with additional assignments and/or projects as needed.
Qualifications
About You...
You are a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who thrives in a team environment. You also have the following:
Education/Certification: High School Graduate, some college courses and/or technical training preferred.
Required Knowledge: General knowledge or understanding of lending process, documents, terminology, regulations and standard banking practices.
Experience Required: Two or more years in Loan Operations or Loan Servicing industry.
Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Professional appearance, dress and attitude.
- Good math skills.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office software package.
