About the Role:
As a Loan Fulfillment Doc Prep Specialist I, you will play a key role in supporting the Loan Operations team by preparing and reviewing commercial and consumer loan documentation. You’ll ensure compliance with regulatory and investor guidelines while delivering exceptional service to internal stakeholders. This position requires strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and deliver detailed commercial loan documents including promissory notes, deeds/mortgages, and security agreements.
- Handle non-disclosable consumer note modification requests.
- Review due diligence and supporting documents to ensure compliance with bank, regulatory, and investor guidelines.
- Verify approval documents, title work, entity documentation, flood determinations, appraisal notices, and applicable taxes.
- Provide timely and accurate responses to document-related inquiries from lending personnel.
- Meet established production and quality performance standards.
- Adhere to corporate policies and participate in required compliance training.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience:
- Minimum 1 year in Loan Operations, Loan Processing, or a Branch environment.
- Document preparation or review experience preferred.
- Familiarity with commercial and/or retail loan documentation and collateral perfection.
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Additional coursework or certifications in banking or finance are a plus.
- Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to meet multiple deadlines and work independently.
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience with loan documentation systems and compliance platforms.
- Knowledge of intangible and recording tax calculations.
- Familiarity with flood zone determinations and appraisal documentation.
Additional Information:
Travel:
- Up to 25% travel required.
Supervisory Responsibility:
- This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background & credit check
- This is a full-time, non-remote position; schedule flexibility required, including evenings and weekends
