The Accounts Receivable Manager ensures effective and efficient operation of the Customer Service Department, including supporting our customers, sales associates, and delivery associates with any customer-oriented needs. This position oversees the handling of customer payments, licenses, credits, and pricing, while also supporting the Customer Service Representatives.
- Must be 21 years or older
- Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university; or High School Diploma or GED plus three (3) or more years related experience in business or related field
- 5 years of customer service/AR experience.
- 3 years of experience in a leadership / supervisory role
- Effective communication skills
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor the CS team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Act as an escalation point to answer phone calls from customers, sales associates, and delivery associates and provide support
- Oversee FINTECH and other electronic payments to ensure payments are processed in a timely and accurate manner
- Enter Fintech data into Encompass
- Oversee set up of new customers and update of customer licenses in Encompass
- Apply credits to customer’s accounts
- Investigate pricing issues and make corrections
- Bill sample requests
- Process customer checks
- Processes billing for monthly transfer charges
- Handle returned check payments
- Bill glassware requests
- Complete occasional billing of sales orders
- Identify training needs and provide development opportunities to build team expertise.
