You will serve as a ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (MECHANICAL) in Code 981, FACILITIES PLANNING & ANALYSIS BRANCH, PRODUCTION ENGINEERING & FACILITIES DIVISION, PRODUCTION RESOURCES DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.

Qualifications:
FOR THE GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:- Experience applying engineering technical principles, concepts, and practices;
- Experience working with equipment, structures, and systems of other engineering disciplines as applicable to submarine overhaul/repair and alterations;
- Experience applying conventional methods used to gather, analyze, and evaluate information concerning management processes, providing solutions, and recommending appropriate action;
- Experience preparing and presenting findings and recommend solutions, including preparation and presentation of graphs and charts;
- Experience operating computer applications and database software.
