USPI Shoreline Surgery Centeris seeking a motivated RN PreOp PACU to join our team. We have 4 OR rooms and 1 Treatment room. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Gastroenterology and Ophthalmology. We are looking for a candidate to be available Monday-Friday, schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day. The candidate needs to be available for some early mornings and later evenings.

Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Must be able to work early morning hours. Competitive salary and benefits for the right candidate.

Job Summary: The RN Pre-op/PACU is a Registered Nurse that provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN Pre-op/PACU provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations. The RN Pre-op/PACU supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization. The RN Pre-op/PACU reports to the Manager of Peri-operative Services.

Required Skills:

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Texas Nursing License
• Current BLS required, ACLS and PALS preferred, not required.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Pre-Op/PACU preferred, not required. Will train the right candidate.
