What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN PreOp PACU FT position at USPI?
USPI Shoreline Surgery Center is seeking a motivated RN PreOp PACU to join our team. We have 4 OR rooms and 1 Treatment room. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Gastroenterology and Ophthalmology. Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Must be able to work early morning hours; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day. Competitive salary and benefits for the right candidate.
Job Summary: The RN Pre-op/PACU is a Registered Nurse that provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN Pre-op/PACU provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations. The RN Pre-op/PACU supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization. The RN Pre-op/PACU reports to the Manager of Peri-operative Services.

Required Skills:
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Texas Nursing License
- Current BLS required, ACLS and PALS preferred, not required.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Pre-Op/PACU preferred, not required. Will train the right candidate.
