Accounts Receivable Specialist

The Accounts Receivable Specialist at United Way of Greater Cincinnati administers and coordinates accounts receivable functions and partner agency communications for United Way of Greater Cincinnati (UWGC).

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Accounts Receivable

• Process ACH daily reports and apply payments in CRM
• Process Retail Lockbox (RLB) bank records and record payments in CRM
• Process credit card payments and record in CRM
• Work with Pledge Processing staff to ensure accuracy in gift recording
  
  
  

Information Management

• Research and update partner agency contact information
• Serve as liaison between partner agencies and finance team
• Review donor accounts for accuracy and prepare adjustments
• Respond to donor inquiries and partner agency cases
• Participate in the annual review and update of departmental procedures
• Assist with special projects as requested
  
  
  

Other Duties as Assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• College accounting courses or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of nonprofit accounting preferred.
• Proficiency in basic Microsoft Word and intermediate Excel.
• Minimum two years accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM system strongly encouraged

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Normal office environment with little exposure to dust, noise, temperature, and the like.
• Occasional local travel to events within the regional area.

SALARY:

$23.08 per hour (Annual Salary: $45,006)
