What are the responsibilities and job description for the Americorps Community Resource Navigator position at United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley?
This role provides an opportunity to be a change agent working toward closing the gap and removing barriers to thriving for communities and their families. Our program partners with community based non-profit organizations to identify underserved individuals who would benefit from a positive relationship that can give targeted social and emotional support as well as connection to resources.
Members will learn about and build partnerships with community resources to assist the community at large.
- While serving, members receive a living allowance dispersed twice per month in addition to an education award at the end of successful service term.
- Service terms are 8-10 months in duration.
- Hours per week vary from 10 - 34 based on host location need and availability of member.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required for some positions.
