HME Equipment Technician - Delivery and Set up
ENTRY LEVEL - TRAINING PROVIDED
Moline, IL
Monday-Friday 8 : 30AM-5PM
On-Call Rotation - 1 week / month
Responsibilities
Delivers and sets up or picks-up equipment from patient homes, hospitals and other health care facilities. Cleans, checks, troubleshoots, and performs minor repairs and maintenance on equipment related to job requirements.
Maintains a detailed audit trail of all equipment transactions that have been received, delivered or disposed.
Qualifications
- High School or Vocational School graduate or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Must possess excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous computerized practice management / billing system experience.
- Knowledge of industry specific rules and regulations.
- Knowledge of personnel administration and patient relation principles.
- Ability to work as a collaborative team member.
- Ability to understand and apply guidelines, policies and procedures.
