Shift: PRN, As Needed
The PCT is responsible for providing medical and counseling support to Powell CDC patients. The PCT also assists in the provision of patient monitoring, orientation, patient recovery and recreational support. Consistently utilizes a holistic approach (considering physical, psych/social, spiritual, education, safety, and related criteria) appropriate to the age of the patients served in the assigned service area.

Responsibilities
- PCTs will perform patient care and treatments under supervision of a RN. Provides and documents care including, but not limited to, activities of daily living, mobility, specimen collection and respiratory support activities as directed by the RN.
- Possess the ability to lift, move, position and transport patients.
- Demonstrates the ability to meet the department work schedule.
- Demonstrates initiative to improve quality of care, patient and employee safety, and customer service.
- Team members under the age of 18 may not independently operate mechanical lift equipment.
License(s)/Certification(s):
- CNA certification required
- Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain certification within three (3) months from date of hire.
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Valid Driver's License when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons
- Level 3 Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
