The Inside Sales Account Manageris responsible for building UnivarSolutionsbusiness partnerships andgrowing the portfolio of products and services provided to existing UnivarSolutionscustomers.This position willrequireeffective territory management and business planning capabilities to execute our strategies and increase sales performance within the assigned geography. This is an account executive level sales role and requiresa driven self-starter attitude and the ability to work autonomously. All the work is done virtually over the phone, WebEx,or video chat.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Improve and expand Univar Solutions position within assigned accounts using a consultative and in-depth selling approach within the account
- Establish and developcustomer relationships by evaluating needs and opportunities withincustomer accounts
- Provide customer technical support and consultant services to increase our overall value to the customer
- Set pricing and service levels, as well as maintaining and coordinating customer quotations.
- Work cross-functionally with Purchasingand Operations to insure inventory levels
- Developand implementbusiness plansto achievefinancialgoals and objectives.
- Document all account activity in the CRM system (Salesforce.com).
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- 2 years of experience in a Sales Position with a proven record ofhard-working insidesales successorBachelor's degreefrom fully accredited four-year institution (Technical Science, Chemistry preferred)
- Experiencenegotiating and closinglargeopportunities
- Strong understanding of the business
- Outstanding Discovery andNegotiation skills
- Ability to accurately communicate(written, verbal, listening, presentation)
- Sophisticated use of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint as well as CRM platforms such as Salesforce.com
