JOB SUMMARY:
The Telephone Operator is responsible for answering the main switch board for all incoming calls into the hospital.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
1.) Answers all incoming calls.
2.) Pages physicians and employees via pagers or cellulars.
3.) Assists patients in placing calls.
4.) Pages hospital codes.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- PBX experience or previous experience within the healthcare field preferred.
- High School Dipolma or equivalent required.
- Bilingual English/Spanish required.
