What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Technician position at Universal Polymer & Rubber, Ltd.?
We are busy! We are looking for an additional enthusiastic quality technician to join our team on 1st shift.
*Quality Management system experience
*Inspect, test, or measure materials, products, installations, or work for conformance to specifications.
*Measure dimensions of products using instruments as rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
*Reading blueprints, data manuals, or other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment methods, certification processes, formulas, or measuring instrument required.
*Recording data
*Discard or reject products, materials or equipment not meeting specifications
*Collect or select samples for testing or for use as models
*Analyze test data, making computations as necessary, to determine test results.
*Working knowledge/experience of Automotive PPAP’s
*Familiarity with FMEA and control plans
*Intermediate computer skills
*Internal QMS Auditing a plus
*General housekeeping
*This position will be an active liaison between the shop floor and Quality office.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
