Role Description
These are full-time on-site role for two Postdoctoral Associates located in Buffalo, NY. The first position is to improve the representation of Greenland ice sheet surface melt using machine learning, observations and data assimilation. The second position is to improve Earth System Modeling of regional sea level. The Postdoctoral Associate will be responsible for conducting research, collaborating with faculty members, publishing scholarly articles, and participating in academic seminars and conferences.

Qualifications
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in publishing scholarly articles and presenting at academic conferences
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ph.D. in a related field
- Knowledge of relevant research methodologies and tools
- Previous teaching or mentoring experience is a plus
