Intake Scheduler for Home Care

University Home Care Inc is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Intake Scheduler for Home Care to join our team in Livonia, MI. The Intake Scheduler will play a crucial role in coordinating and scheduling home care services for our clients, ensuring efficient communication between caregivers and clients while maintaining accurate records. This position requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a genuine commitment to supporting the health and well-being of our community.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule in-home care services based on client needs and caregiver availability.
• Communicate effectively with clients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to facilitate timely service delivery.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information in the system.
• Respond promptly to inquiries and resolve scheduling conflicts or issues.
• Assist with intake processes including gathering necessary client information and documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation and client satisfaction.

Requirements

• At least 1 year experiences
• Previous experience in scheduling, customer service, or healthcare coordination preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency with computers and scheduling software.
• Familiar with Axiscare system is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
