The Role

We are looking to recruit self-motivated, and enthusiastic Student Administrators to be part of the Faculty Student Administration function. This role plays a pivotal part in providing administrative support to students and the individual Schools across the University.

The role of a Faculty Student Administrator (FSTA) is wide ranging with its primary purpose to provide administrative assistance for undergraduate or postgraduate teaching along with supporting a wide range of activities such as induction and registration to graduation.

The majority of these roles are based on our main Clifton campus which is within close proximity to Bristol city centre and numerous transport links including two train stations. We also offer staff the opportunity to participate in the cycle to work scheme. We are lucky to be located in a vibrant, dynamic city with a reputation for creativity and sustainability.

You Should Apply If

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a number of competencies including the ability to deliver exceptional customer service including face to face and online, attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and prioritising a variety of work activities in a busy environment.

Ideally you will already have some relevant experience and possess the communication, drive and customer care skills to deliver a high quality service to a range of stakeholders at all levels. Good computer skills with experience working with Excel, Word and MS Outlook is strongly preferred.

If your application demonstrates that you meet the selection criteria you will be asked to complete an online test which will assess your computer skills along with situational judgement exercises. Successful applicants will then be invited to attend an interview.

The role is not eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route so if you are a migrant worker you will need to ensure you have an appropriate visa to evidence the necessary right to work
