Department Description
The F.I. Proctor Foundation is committed to engaging in research activities and providing state-of-art patient care that address infectious and inflammatory disease. The Proctor Foundation currently has >10 active field trials funded by the National Institutes of Health and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The position will be based at UCSF’s Mission Bay Campus in San Francisco. Office space will be provided, but a mix of on-site and remote work is welcome. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
- Demonstrated proficiency with at least one software language that can be used to implement computational models (R preferred).
- Passionate about the clinical and public health impact of infectious disease modeling
- Solid writing/communication skills.
- Comfort with calculus, linear algebra, and basic probability
