Summary

The candidate will be faculty within the University of Michigan Division of Infectious Diseases, a nationally recognized Division with impressive breadth and depth of clinical programs and scholarship. The Division consists of 42 faculty members, over $12 million in annual grant funding, 3 members of the American Society for Clinical Investigation, 2 members of the Association of American Physicians, 1 member of the National Academy of Medicine, and 1 Master of the American College of Physicians. Member of the Division serves as Editor-in-Chief of JCI Insight.

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have an M.D. degree, postgraduate clinical training, and experience in infectious diseases. They should hold or have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical licenses in the State of Michigan. Candidates should be able to collaborate effectively with other clinicians. Good oral and written communication skills are essential. Evidence of clinical competence and experience teaching in a clinical and didactic setting is expected.

Background Screening
