What You'll Do
The primary goal of this position is to help coordinate the support and maintenance activities in the School of Kinesiology's 28 research centers and instructional laboratories. Reporting to the Research and Instructional Lab Coordinator, you will perform responsibilities including the below. Review more detail in the full job description here.
- Work with stakeholders to identify par levels of consumables and set up teaching laboratories with specific equipment as needed
- Ensure all shared equipment and associated peripherals stay in good working order
- Develop a binder with pertinent information for shared equipment
- Help maintain a safety minded culture in all of the laboratory spaces
- Work with SoK staff and faculty to determine new equipment and space needs
- Track the maintenance and warranty schedule for all shared equipment
- Perform additional related non-routine duties and tasks, such as implementation of new equipment

Required Qualifications*
- Bachelor's degree
- 2 years of experience with scientific equipment and materials in a research or teaching laboratory setting.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety requirements.
