Summary
As the Prospect Management Analyst, you will be a consultant to the fundraising units across the three University of Michigan campuses. Your core responsibility will be the portfolio review process, including preparing documents and conducting portfolio review sessions. The Prospect Management Analyst position has primary responsibility for advising university fundraisers in the optimization of their portfolios and the achievement of their fundraising goals while embracing diverse philanthropic perspectives. You will also influence operational change management through scheduling and reviewing departmental audits, and providing instructional feedback to relevant teams and individuals. You will also field and respond to inquiries from members of the development community about prospect management data procedures, policies, and best practices.

Responsibilities*
Be a consultant to major gift officers and chief development officers with a focus on the optimization of their portfolios through strategic portfolio review sessions.
Develop training curriculum materials for the development community related to prospect management procedures.
Assist members of the development community with requests for information while providing excellent customer service.
Produce reports for portfolio review sessions and manage portfolio information changes in DART as provided by major gift officers.
Assist the Director of Prospect Development and Analytics with strategic preparations and detailed follow-up for strategy meetings.
Required Qualifications*
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
One or more years of office experience is necessary.
A commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace.
Experience managing sensitive information with the highest degree of confidentiality and professional ethics.
Demonstrate situational awareness through the confidence and ability to relate complex content to a variety of audiences.
Prior experience defining and creating focused reports and dashboards using data visualization, business intelligence, and other tools and methods.
