The Department of Bioengineering is seeking a part time Adjunct Associate Professor. Incumbent will develop course content for the Fall 2025 Ideation & Design class (BIOENG2150) and conduct lectures.
Organize guest speakers, field trips, exams for graduate students. Position requires knowledge and experience with commercializing new medical technologies or services.
Preferred candidates will have a deep network of entrepreneurial contacts who might serve as guest lecturers or workshop leaders. Must have interest in guiding and mentoring graduate students interested in pursuing careers in medical product/ service industries.
Position requires effective communication skills, although formal experience in education is not needed. Ability to solve problems, and to structure project plans to completion must be demonstrated through previous work experience. PhD in STEM field is required for this position.
