Essential Functions
- Attend Office of Admissions and Financial Aid/School of Health and Rehabilitation programs as assigned by supervisor.
- Help coordinate OAFA/SHRS presence at Pitt Admissions Programs. Represents SHRS/Transfer Team by offering presentations and Q&A sessions with prospective and admitted students.
- Assist with developing and implementing strategies to recruit a diverse pool of potential transfer applicants (share ideas about transfer audience, information, ideas of call to action, ideas for webpages/advertising).
- Corresponds and interacts with prospective students, applicants, advisors, and others seeking information on admissions standards, academic programs, and student activities following established procedures and precedents. Conducts enrollment and informational meetings with prospective students and their families. Some activities include but are not limited to: r esponding to phone calls, emails, cases, Panther Link, r eview and complete committee reads, s upport Transfer Welcome Center, g ive transfer presentations, m eet with students and families to answer their questions, and h elp cover virtual appointments.
- Collaborates with SHRS enrollment and OAFA to assess transfer student eligibility and resolve complex problems as necessary.
- When needed, travels within and out of state for recruitment activities such as conducting information sessions and tabling at colleges, college fairs, and conferences.
- Assists with nurturing prospective students through the enrollment funnel with the goal of application and enrollment with special focus on SHRS undergraduate and accelerated programs.
- Maintains communications and record of barriers via prospective student database.
- Maintains basic knowledge of SHRS academic programming and University/admission and transfer admission information.
