Job Duties:

The Wisconsin Child Welfare Professional Development System (WCWPDS) provides a comprehensive, statewide array of professional learning opportunities that supports the enhancement of a competent child welfare workforce and well-prepared caregivers capable of positively impacting safety, permanence and well-being outcomes for children and families in the state of Wisconsin. The WCWPDS collaboratively develops and provides asynchronous, synchronous and blended learning opportunities to county, tribal and state child welfare partners across Wisconsin. The Research Analyst will assist with the analysis and interpretation of collected data and drafts reports to develop and communicate research findings and works closely with the Wisconsin Child Welfare Professional Development System administrative team to fulfill the mission of WCWPDS and provide support to child welfare training operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Analytical and logistical support for the Evaluation program
  • Analytical and logistical support for WCWPDS Conferences
  • Query, consolidate, and report child welfare training data
  • Other duties as assigned by the Training Support and Administration manager or WCWPDS Executive Director

This position is part-time, 80%

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes data and summarizes research results for a defined research area or study by utilizing established processes
  • Maintains organization of research records and responds to data requests and inquiries
  • Serves as an initial point of contact for individuals and groups providing basic information about result analysis and methodologies, answers questions as needed
  • Prepares reports and manuscripts and assists with the development and presentation of materials through various communication platforms

Compensation:

The typical starting salary for this position is $41,564 - $59,436 (prorated based on the full-time rate of $51,955 - $74,296) depending on qualifications and experience. Required Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a professional environment
  • Extensive experience with analytic and survey software including Business Objects, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Stata, and Qualtrics
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to summarize and discuss data in multiple formats
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize office related technology including Microsoft Office Suite products and internet-based tools
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality work while balancing multiple priorities and managing deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to understand, interpret and follow verbal and written instructions

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field preferred

Combination of education and experience will be considered
