JOB TITLE
Work Study Student - Honors College Front Office Associate
DEPARTMENT INFORMATION
This would be in the front office of the Honors College. Duties include: Answering phones, and mailings, stuffing envelopes, campus errands, and assisting faculty and staff.
What type of clients are served in your department: Students, faculty, staff, campus visitors, parents of students.
We have a food-sharing cabinet.
Job location: Honors College | Guthrie House
Pay rate or range: $12.00 per hour
Job Purpose
Mainly, assist the front office associate as needed.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Education:Â Has begun post-secondary education.
Experience: Working in an office environment, software proficiency, organization skills, filing, and alphabetizing, attention to detail is critical.
Other requirements:Â Must be eligible, and have received and accepted work-study award through Student Financial Aid for the applicable semester and/or academic year.
Desired Qualifications
This student will benefit from working with the public as well as faculty and staff. Gaining new software skills as well as research methods.
WORK LOCATION
On-campus: This position provides vital support to campus customers, and the successful candidate must be available to work on campus.

- Cleaning, stocking, and managing the honors library.
- Helping with hosting events.
- Online software that would help with editing and keeping up the Honors College web page.

Experience: Working in an office environment, software proficiency, organization skills, filing, and alphabetizing, attention to detail is critical.
Other requirements:Â Must be eligible, and have received and accepted work-study award through Student Financial Aid for the applicable semester and/or academic year.

- Past history of working with the public
- Broad range of office skills, software, copying, and printer knowledge.
