Position Summary
The Sales Account Executive will play a critical role within our fast paced advertising sales team, with a focus on driving revenue for linear and digital platforms. This role will develop sales revenue from new advertisers as well as maximize revenue from assigned list (active & non-active accounts). Finding and developing new and non-traditional advertisers is expected, as well as revenue opportunities in linear and digital platforms.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for the sale of short form inventory across Univision properties
- Maximize DR revenue utilizing national and local breaks
- Build and revise sales presentations to present to agencies and clients
- Supervise, train, and mentor Sales Coordinators to ensure execution of plans
- Own, manage, and develop relationships with agencies and advertisers
- Selling of Linear, Digital and Social advertising
- Schedule and execute meetings/presentations with buyers, planners and clients
- Develop strong relationships throughout Univision to ensure a unified and coordinated strategy is presented in the market
- Attend sales calls & internal brainstorming sessions
- Other duties as assigned by manager
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree / Minimum 4-year college degree
- Minimum 6 years of work experience in media sales (preferably Direct Response)
- Previous experience and success in working for multi-media sales organization.
- Excellent interpersonal and client relation skills
- Must be self-motivated, driven and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong computer skills with experience in Internet & Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint and Excel

- Must possess the ability to work effectively with others in the entire sales organization; Univision Sales Team, Stations, and Management within a multi-cultural environment

- Ability to build and maintain relationships at the senior level
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be willing to work from offices in New York, NY
- Employment/education will be verified
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a fulltime basis
