This position supports policies and programs in the areas of recruiting, compensation and benefits, training, facilitation, counseling, conflict resolution, and new program introduction.
This leader would actively work with leadership to develop and coach best-practice leadership methods, adjudicates grievances and disputes and recommends necessary action based on analysis and policy. In this position, the Director will utilize considerable judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining positive relationships with all staff.
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
Works independently with proven organizational skills and attention to detail
Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks, and exercise sound judgment.
Demonstrates proficiency in verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Ability to maintain a high level of sensitive, confidential HR data.
Knowledge of applicable state, federal and local employment laws to include unemployment, FMLA, ADA, EEO, and FLSA, ERISA laws.
Knowledge of State Workers̢۪ Compensation Laws to include OSHA & MIOSHA standards.
Position Requirements:
Minimum education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration required
Master's Degree in Human Resources preferred
SHRM Certification preferred
5 years of Human Resources experience required
Working knowledge of equal employment opportunity, Joint Commission, Compliance, and HIPAA required
Annual influenza vaccination or declination required
