Responsibilities:
- Communicates patient concerns or issues to supervisor or clinical staff promptly to ensure swift resolution and patient satisfaction.
- Handles all phone calls with professionalism, using effective telephone skills to address inquiries and follow up on issues until resolved.
- Processes nutrition care orders according to established procedures, ensuring accuracy and timeliness to support patient dietary needs.
- Troubleshoots and resolves interface issues with diet orders, coordinating with technical support for software and printer problems as needed.
- Prepares tray tickets for food assembly following workflow procedures to maintain efficiency and accuracy in meal service.
- Assists patients with menu planning in a friendly and helpful manner, adhering to diet orders to meet individual nutritional needs.
- Maintains detailed record-keeping and prepares reports as assigned to ensure accurate documentation and compliance with procedural standards.
- Reports software and printer issues to the appropriate IS individual or group promptly to minimize disruptions and maintain operational efficiency.
