What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN I position at Upson Regional Medical Center?
The LPN under the guidance and supervision of the RN, shares responsibility for providing for the total patient needs. As a member of the nursing team, the LPN performs a variety of technical and skilled patient care duties of which were acquired through formal practical nursing education and supervised on-the-job training and experiences. The LPN shares the responsibility in providing a safe and comfortable environment conducive to healing while delivering quality care. The patient population primarily served is age 8 to geriatric.
Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, current LPN license in the State of GA, BLS, and one year medical office experience.
