INFUSION DOCUMENTATION SPECIALIST
Job Summary:
Directly provides basic billing functions, clerical assistance and document organization as requested by the Infusion RCM Manager and/or designee.
Minimum Qualifications:
Two years of clerical, secretarial or office experience within a service-related company. Organizational, problem solving and communications skills, computer literacy, and math aptitude, required.
Work Environment:
Office environment.
Special Physical Demands:
Clear speech, adequate hearing, excellent listening skills are essential for effective performance. Repetitive filing motions required. Ability to multitask and work independently required.
Performance Requirements:
1. Providing compliance to Administrative Filing policies & procedures:
- Ensuring audit documents are in proper order for submission.
- Ensuring appropriate documents are filed, emailed, scanned, and mailed.
- Ensuring claims from remote employees are mailed with appropriate documentation.
- Ability to organize and handle multiple emailed directives from billing staff.
- Ability to order and inventory appropriate billing forms.
- Mail distribution for billing department and phone coverage during breaks
- Occasional basic billing functions for small clients
- Complying with confidentiality policy and procedures
- Asking questions when unsure of proper task performance
2. Shows teamwork, initiative, and accountability by:
- Complies with requests, memos and/or policy changes.
- Volunteering or initiating assistance in other activities (not listed in JD) when it is beneficial to the company.
3. Exhibits exceptional work ethics by:
- Not being wasteful or abusing branch/region resources (vehicles, buildings, equipment, supplies, phones, utilities, time at work and time absent from work, etc.)
- Following through timely with commitments
- Being flexible and able to prioritize for maximum employer satisfaction.

- Asking clarifying questions and showing consideration of other comments

- Confirming knowledge of requirements at time of hire
- Meeting requirements as evidenced by work performance, competency evaluation (if applicable) and performance appraisal.
