Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Techs to join our dynamic healthcare team in Vilonia, AR.
This position will perform x-ray testing, operate diagnostic equipment, develop film, and prepare the room with necessary equipment and supplies for procedures. Full-time team members work a rotating 36-40 hour/week schedule, consisting of 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend. PRN (per diem) team members are scheduled on an as-needed basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promptly greet patients when entering waiting area, exam room, and laboratory or x-ray room
- Consistently communicate with patients on wait times and provide direction to the next step in the treatment process
- Provide solutions to patient problems and recognize and seek help in emergent/hazardous situations
- Execute follow-up calls with a sense of urgency
- Assist front desk personnel with patient check-in/out procedures when necessary
- Obtain and accurately document patient vital signs and weight, take brief history, past medical, family and social history current medications, allergies, and other pertinent historical information as appropriate
- Assist with patient transfers
- Assist with procedures directly supervised by the provider
- Follow documentation procedures and complete required documentation related to patient visit
- Perform timely radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician
- Perform necessary quality control procedures to ensure quality exams are performed
- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and follow established clinical and regulatory procedures in regards to patient safety and care, including proper radiation protection and shielding techniques
- Ensure that equipment is in proper working order and report any malfunctions to the Manager or provider on duty
- Follow documentation procedures and complete required documentation related to patient visit
- Assume responsibility for maintaining and improving diagnostic imaging knowledge and skills with the support and assistance of outside educational resources
- Responsible for maintaining current licensure and certification for the facility radiology equipment and licensure
Salary : $45,000 - $55,000
