Washington Regional Urgent Care is looking for dedicated, compassionate, and experienced nurse practitioners to join our dynamic healthcare team. We are an affiliate of Urgent Team, one of the largest independent operators of urgent and family care centers in the Southeast.
We have six locations in Arkansas, providing a range of healthcare services including treatments for injuries and illnesses, occupational health and wellness care. Our centers are open seven days a week: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
As a Nurse Practitioner at Washington Regional Urgent Care, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional medical care to patients of all ages with a wide variety of acute and chronic medical conditions. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, diagnosing, treating, and educating patients while ensuring the highest standard of care and service.
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide exemplary customer service to patients, visitors, and coworkers.
- Provide convenient, friendly patient care to all who come through our door seeking health-related services.
- Provide leadership, direction, and assistance during emergencies while maintaining a comforting and reassuring affect for patients.
- Perform medical assessment, treatment, management, and follow-up of clinic patients.
- Perform medical procedures including laceration repairs, nail removal, pap tests, injections, splinting, and abscess incision and drainage.
- Maintain clinical core competency.
- Work with Center Leadership and other staff to ensure operations are consistent with medical policy and professional standards.
What's Required:
- Experience as a provider is preferred; however, new graduates are welcome to apply.
- State license as an APRN.
- Certification as an APRN through the AANP or ANCC.
- DEA license, or willingness to obtain upon hire.
- DOT certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire.
- BLS certification.
