What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiology Tech position at Urgent Team Management?
Washington Regional Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Tech to join our dynamic healthcare team.
The ideal candidate will perform x-ray testing, operate diagnostic equipment, and assist with medical procedures. A high school diploma or equivalent, BLS Certification, and AR State X-Ray License are required. ARRT Certification and experience as a Medical Assistant are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promptly greet patients and communicate effectively
- Assist front desk personnel with patient check-in/out procedures
- Obtain and accurately document patient vital signs and weight
- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and follow established clinical and regulatory procedures
- Ensure equipment is in proper working order and report any malfunctions
- Maintain current licensure and certification for the facility radiology equipment and licensure
