About the Role
The Grant Management Specialist supports the administration of URUS grant portfolio within the Global Development team. This role is critical in facilitating adherence to grant contract requirements and efficient fund management, working closely with the Global Development Manager, finance teams and project leads to maintain compliance for grant programs and donor-funded projects. The Grant Management Specialist helps ensure that project documentation, spending, and reports align with grantor guidelines, such as those from BMGF, USAID, and USDA.
Responsibilities
- Oversee compliance protocols for grant programs, ensuring alignment with donor requirements with particular focus on US government regulations including Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200),
- Understanding of contract and specific grant policies related to compliance for USDA Emerging Markets Program, USAID Cooperative Development Program, and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation grants and others.
- Support the development, maintenance, and accuracy of project financial records and documentation.
- Coordinate with grant project leads to ensure timely and accurate submission of reports to donor agencies.
- Collaborate with finance and project teams to maintain grant-related financial tracking and documentation.
- Support and implement additional projects related to business development, marketing research, and office administration.
- Act as support to URUS Global Development Manager in various capacities.
