What are the responsibilities and job description for the Advanced Practice Provider position at US Heart and Vascular?
Heartland Cardiology in Wichita, KS will be adding to the APP team and has an amazing opportunity for a motivated Nurse Practitioner, to work with an Electrophysiologist in a high-volume private practice. The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with the physician in order to support his practice.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Nursing; graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Active KS license or willing to apply.
Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
Cardiology experience as a nurse is preferred but not required
Skills:
General health care and cardiovascular patient assessment and exam skills
Ability to function in a team environment
Demonstrate knowledge and competence in basic cardiovascular technology, i.e. EKG, patient assessment and management of care, labs/hospital test results
